We deliver a enterprise-ready mission-critical platform based on Apache Kafka. It is targeted at larger organisations that want to have a common Kafka platform where every department can exchange info with others, without sacrificing anything on security, privacy or compliance. Teams can manage their own resources (topics, schema, roles & right giving, and more) through self-service. Effectively everyone does functional maintenance him/herself, which is why technical maintainers only need to guarantee the performance and availability of the platform. Platform comes with Kafka, Schema Registry, REST Proxy, Platform Manager (enforcing rules, policies and access rights) that exposes the platform API, a Self-Service UI (which is "just another API client"), a Terraform plugin (so you can store all your definitions in your own Git and deploy them via pipelines to Axual). Besides streaming capabilities, the platform also allows users to run connectors or streaming apps through configuration/low-code on the platform itself. This saves feature teams from the burden of having to have their own K8s/runtime platform. The platform is immensely robust and used throughout Europe in mission-critical environments, like banks, energy grid operations and governments. Our audit log feature of the platform forms the basis for their own compliance reporting to regulators.
