Aegis, by Euraika, is an AI-powered compliance and governance platform built in Europe for European regulatory requirements. It helps organisations manage GDPR, NIS2, DORA, ISO standards, the EU AI Act, and the Belgian CyFun cybersecurity standard from a single system — turning compliance from a periodic, manual effort into a continuous, evidenced operation. The platform brings together a full governance toolset — policies, risk registers, controls, evidence management, vendor and third-party risk, internal and mock audits, awareness training, incident and whistleblowing intake, and board-ready reporting — and pairs it with continuous monitoring. Through connectors to the systems behind each control, Aegis detects compliance drift the moment it happens, rather than uncovering gaps at audit time. Aegis applies AI where it adds measurable value: retrieving regulatory text, drafting and classifying compliance content, and enriching risks. Crucially, this AI is transparent and auditable. It runs on a known, EU-hosted model — not an opaque third-party service — and every AI action is logged and traceable, with answers verified against authoritative sources and cited back to them. AI only advises; a human approves every change before it takes effect. Sovereignty is built into the architecture, not added as a label. Aegis runs as single-tenant software on European infrastructure: each customer gets a dedicated, isolated environment with its own database and encryption keys. All AI inference, embeddings, and the underlying knowledge store run on European-hosted infrastructure, so regulated data never leaves European jurisdiction.
